Shekhawati is a semi-arid historical region located in the northeast part of Rajasthan. Tourist come here to see its Forts & Castles, Horse Safaris, Shekhawati Horse Brigade, Nawalgarh, Dundlod cavalry, Dundlod, and Heritage on Wheels, a luxury tourist train on meter gauge, that takes its passengers to the lesser known and colorful area of Shekhawati Region

Shekhawati is named after its ruler Rao Shekha of the 15th century. Strategically placed on the route between ports of Gujarat and Northern India, the region became very prosperous by imposing levies on the caravans of traders passing through. The wealthy merchants of this region popularly known as Marwaris are spread all over the world. But they still own their ancestral mansions (havelis) in their native villages and towns.

The five great deeds of marwari merchant is supposed to be build in a haveli such as, a well, a school, a dharamshala (Caravanserai) and a temple. The merchants, flushed with money, and competed with each other in building such structures.

Day 01: Delhi

Arrival and pick up from airport Check into hotel Day on leisure at your own. Overnight stay.

Day 02: Delhi

Breakfast in hotel. Full day city tour: old Delhi (Jama Masjid, Rajghat, New Delhi India Gate, Red Fort, Qutub Minar) Over night stay at hotel.

Day 03: Delhi – Mandawa (258 kms)

Morning after breakfast drive to mandawa Arrival at hotel Later walking tour at Shekhawati region-Painted havelis. Overnight stay.

Day 04: Mandawa - Nawalgarh - Mandawa

After breakfast Drive to Nawalgarh (25 kms) Visit to nawalgarh fort,enjoy nawalgarh falls Drive back to mandawa Overnight stay.

Day 05: Mandawa – Samode (160 kms)

Morning breakfast Drive to Samode Visit to 400 year old Samode palace Overnight stay in hotel.

Day 06: Samode – Jaipur (42 kms)

Morning breakfast Drive to jaipur Arrival and check into hotel Visit to Local market,Handicrafts etc Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 07: Jaipur

After Breakfast Visit to Amber fort , Elephant ride Half day city tour- Hawa Mahal,City Palace, Jantar mantar Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 08: Jaipur – Delhi (266 kms)

Breakfast at hotel Drive back to Delhi.
